Packaging / Design

The disc is presented with a simple foldout cardboard sleeve. Nothing to special and not very noteworthy in terms of artwork either.

Disc contents / Extras

This disc comes with a number of short featurettes about how to make your own movies. There's also a 20 min part focusing on David Lynch who talks about how he works. This also comes with a great deal of behind the scenes footage and other clips of David on set.

The Scene from a David Lynch DV project (which can be found on
youtube) appears to be something that might have developed during the shooting of Inland Empire. It lasts for about six minutes and features Kristen Kerr, Stanley Kamel and a woman that I can't really identify.

Anyway, they're sitting sitting in chairs on a backyard lawn and go through an odd dialogue (which feels very Lynchian) that ends with an little singing number from all three characters.

All in all I think this is really cool for a freebie-disc but I wouldn't pay to much for it as it's not very packed.

Sidenotes

This was a free promo disc from Digidesign. All you had to do to get one was to send in your shipping adress and it dropped down at your doorstep - no shipping fees, no nothing.

HAHA :D I KNOW! ANOTHER FRIEND TOLD ME THIS AS WELL AND I HATE IT! I CAN'T CONTROL IT EITHER! I mean I don't talk that way in my native language so I think it's just a nervous response or maybe I have a hard time articulating or something. But trust me... I'm aware (lol)... and I've even edited out a few of them... :P

You have great videos on youtube but no offense, your loud lip smacking at the start of every other sentence is driving me nuts...
