Packaging / Design

If one can forget about the acadamy awards crap at the top of the cover, the design isn't all that bad. There a small ratings sticker (not pictured) on the front but this peals of very easily.

The back cover flyer is attached by two small dots of glue and come of just as easy. The back of the steelbook is all black, which I think is okay but not very interesting. All in all I'd say it's the best packaging I've seen for the film so far, but it's also the ONLY packaging that wasn't a standard keepcase, so go figure.

Disc contents / Extras

The extras aren't very impressive but add up to about 45 min or so. They're pretty standard making of featurettes but certainly not enough considering that there's no commentary track or even a theatrical trailer for the main feature.

My guess is there's probably a special edition waiting right around the corner... But on the other hand this will probably do for now. last but not least, the subtitles are available for both the movie and all the extras.

Sidenotes

This steelbook was exclusive to HMV in the UK, but the same design is also available on steelbooks in a couple of other countries (The Checz Republic for instance) but these all have the title printed in the local langauge.

The barcode only appears on the back cover flyer.

I own this steelbook, I don't mind the cover, it's the back (all black) and the inside of the steelbook (all silver) that makes this steelbook look kind of on the cheap side if you ask me. I would say I own this for the cool factor, but they should have designed this one better.

My point exactly. This is such a fine film, it deserves way better than this. In fact, why not do a limited edition leather satchel for this one? That would look cool. :)

WHY doesn't anyone do a nice looking cover for this one? I'm furious! This is OK, I guess, but still no jaw-dropper...
