Video Review

Packaging / Design
This is quite a simple packaging design but still very stylish choice. The outer (partial) slipcase comes with a glossy finish while the inner slipcase is all matte.
I think this looks works very well and the artwork itself is also very well chosen. Furthermore I don't think there's to many other alternatives to go for if you want something other than a keepcase for this film.
Disc contents / Extras
This release is exactly the same as pretty much every other region so there's no real reason to pick this version over another based purely on the disc specs.
Extras are pretty decent for a single disc release and the 6 part Acts of Violence documentary feels quite lengthy indeed.
All the extras come with optional french subtitles.
EASTER EGGS
In the special features menu, highlight Deleted Scene 44 and press right. This highlights a red bullet hole. Press enter to see a clip with Ed Harris talking about what kind of people will enjoy the film. (39s)
In the Acts of Violence submenu, highlight Act 1 and press right. This highlights a white candle. Press enter to see a clip with Ashton Holmes and Viggo Mortensen (20s).
In the Acts of Violence submenu, highlight Act 1 and press left. This highlights a white fish. Press enter to see a clip with Viggo Mortensen and some kind of fish (yeah I have no idea what this is about either) (45s).
Sidenotes
The cardboard slipcases only appear on the first pressing. The second pressing features the same keepcase and disc but without the slipcases.
