Being a release from Singapore I wasn't really sure what to expect as I've never bought anything from that region before.
This numbered limited edition comes in a slim digipack and feels pretty decent. And being numbered by hand certainly helps to increase the luxurious feeling.
However, it's not really a spectacular digi and I find myself with some odd stains on the back of the case, which I can't really identify. Could be air-bubbles, could be some kind of glue residue. But in any case they're not too noticable and could easily just be a freak accident on my copy.
All in all a pretty nice find but I wouldn't travel the world to find this one unless you're an incredibly big fan of the film (or of limited editions per say).
Dispite being a limited edition, the disc doesn't really offer anything for a fan of Jean-Claude Van Damme. There's just the film and your common set up menus. No extras. No nothing. Not even a trailer.
English subtitles are included for the film but they are only presented during the parts with non-english audio (there's only one audio track on the disc but it's a mixture of french and english so the english subtitles only show when someone speaks french).
The disc also has French and Chinese subtitles but the french are not listed on the cover. Last but not least the audio is only DD 2.0 which doesn't feel to impressive.
Anyone looking for better extras should definitely check out the 2 disc editions released in UK and France.
This hand numbered edition is limited to 500 copies but it's also available as a regular limited edition (in exactly the same digipack) without the numbering and the production stills. The regular limited edition also has the exact same disc and is limited to a total number of 2000 copies.
My copy is number 275/500.
