Packaging / Design

This is an extremely solid and high quality set. The outer cardboard box is extremely thick and sturdy (the way a box should be) and the plexiglas-like slipcover construction is equally thick (I don't think this can be accidently broken, but I'm not about to test that theory).

On the downside, the plastic casing can be slightly difficult to put back on once you've open the set - It's absolutely do-able but it seems like it's one of those cases that can get pretty damaged over the years if you don't handle the process with delecasy.

Still, it's a butiful case, even if the stunning purple-shaded see-through plastic doesn't really standout when it's placed over the box (you really don't notice the wonderful details until you look at the plastic case on it's own).

The storyboard book and screenplay are both very well done and equally detailed even if they're both in Korean (but what did you expect). In the end, the set has a great feel to it and is generally very high quality, but it get's a slight minus for the plastic case being a bit to tight for the cardboard box, which makes the process of getting the discs in and out kind of difficult (the set could possibly get damaged over time... but on the other hand it will probably be in better shape than your avarage digipack set anyway).

Disc contents / Extras

As usual, this Korean super-edition comes with a massive amount of extras (including the full length soundtrack CD) but all but one extra are lacking english subtitles. Still, the image is great, the sound is great, and the english movie-only subs are allright as well.

Plus, there's a lot of stuff that's fun to watch even without subtitles (creature effecs, 3D animation and such), not to mention the soundtrack. All in all, another Korean mega-set worth picking up mainly for the soundtrack and the awsome packaging, but maybe not the obvious choice for the subtitle-picky everyday movie-goer.

Sidenotes
